Dr. Christopher Hynes

 

  • BS - 1985 in Chemistry from Cameron University, Lawton, OK
  • PhD - 1991 in Analytical Chemistry from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK (go Cowboys!) with a specialty in Electroanalytical, modified carbon paste electrodes.

Currently I'm employed at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts, Natchitoches, LA and I'm beginning my 8th year teaching as a Professor of Chemistry.

Extracurricular school activities:

Contrary to what most people think of teachers around here, I do have a life other than Chemistry, LSMSA, etc. I enjoy playing pool (for pleasure or money), playing guitar, hiking, camping, biking, snow skiing, music, reading Civil War history, and Aviation (I’m a pilot).

This web page will be under continual construction as I add more links. I guess this gives me one more thing to add to my list of "Things to update". And I thought that technology was supposed to make our lives more efficient so that we would have more leisure time.
