About Me

Welcome

ZolzerI have been interested in computers as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to be assigned as a computer operator upon entering the Air Force in 1968. As I moved from assignment to assignment I was able to move into programming and systems design. I complete by BS in Computer and Information Science at Troy State in 1979 and entered Officer's Training School. I spent the last ten years of my career as a Communications and Computer Systems Officer. During this time I started teaching part-time at local universities.

Teaching became my second career. I really enjoy working with students to help them grow and learn.

I have been married to Melinda for over 30 years. I have two children and six grandchildren who live in Colorado. I wish I could spend more time with them.

I am involved with the church and an active supporter of prison ministry through Kairos.

“...Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.” — Matthew 25:34-35 (NRSV)

I also enjoy playing the guitar, although I'm still learning. When I have time I play golf or walk to relax.
